Miami Yacht Show Preview Video

0

Before any big event it’s always a good idea to stir interest in your audience. One way is to tease with a “preview” video.

Digital Pictures can help you with concepts, publishing strategy and production.

I spent a few days while the setup was going on shooting some drone footage of the event site being built. Exciting to watch some of the yachts arriving like this one by Viking Yachts.

For all those boat lovers this preview was intended to whet some appetites. It’s also important to make sure you are at exactly 60 seconds or less to make sure your Instagram shows what you want and it does not cut your video short

You have a voice for radio sir!

While running an interview for @OceanDriveMag recently this incredible musician said I have a voice for radio so I met with a local a radio station and now they want me to do a weekly radio reportage. More on that later but I want her on my show. Coming up next is @CarolineVreeland performing live @11miami and boy does she sound sweet. ❤️

Thanks @CarolineVreeland #bombshell for the vote of confidence and inspiration! #davidsiqueiros @WhereLumixGoes ✨🎥

Caroline Vreeland on Music, Modeling, Miami and honoring the family name

0

Caroline Vreeland was super cool and chill. Sexy, smart and funny with a self described “potty mouth”. I was happy to experience first hand the talent that runs deep in her veins.

Here is the video I made of Caroline, granddaughter of one of fashion’s royalty (Diana Vreeland), for the October cover of OceanDrive magazine.

Every day, thousands of independent truckers decide whose freight they want to move. It’s on XPO Logistics to make their choice an easy one.

Digital Pictures sat down with contract drivers at some of the busiest ports in the world to learn what they like about being their own boss, and what keeps them coming back to XPO. It’s good stuff!

We are specialists in two camera interview sessions, drones and steadi cam productions.

One hand washes the other!

0

In these times of automation I’ve seen what it means to have robotics help the human race be as efficient as possible.

On a recent assignment for XPO Logistics, I made this video which forced me to explore the relationship of two different kinds of hands.

The human hand is required to start and finish a total process. But the robotic hand sure does make things efficient in between starting and finishing.

The old saying that “one hand washes  the other” is indeed very true in this robotic exploration.

Life is a Timelapse | Cozumel

0

Capturing time and memories minute to minute, hour to hour, day to day is one of my favorite kinds of videos to make. Especially in Cozumel, Mexico

Photographing a subject over time that in reality changes imperceptibly slowly creating a smooth impression of motion revealing the reality of subtle movement.

Timelapse sequences when combined comprise a lifestyle film for pastime and pursuit.

Incredible movement from mundane motion they are a virtual symphony of time and visuals.

The subject that changes very slowly over time is quickly transformed into an onslaught of activity.

Making time lapse photography videos for about a month straight made me feel like my life was a timelapse. #WhereLumixGoes

Social media content tip!

If you are in need of a social media content tip, I have a great one for you when it comes to making videos for your social media marketing. It is really simple and most people miss it!

On this radio show Jim Fried talks to me about my projects for Comedy Central with the cast of the latest Baywatch movie.

We also discuss the importance of professional head shots in our digital world, my Oceandrive magazine assignments from Jerry Powers and Jason Binn, Dr. Marty Zaiac and my Andy Warhol collectible prints.

A skirt with a mind of it’s own!

I have been working with the Lumix GH4 for the last few months and I love ❤ this camera! The Vario lenses produce really sharp images and there are plenty to focal lengths to choose from.

My GH4 is now a tool I value more than the other cameras I own including my Nikon and my Canon digital systems. For making top notch quality social media videos with ease the only thing I want now is a GH5 system.

On a recent project for a Fortune 100 company I DID NOT make any color corrections on the videos I shot from this camera. Of course I spent some time making sure I used the color balance controls to match the light source. It was great the that the client never sid anything about the color except how good it looked. That video and some stills will be coming soon.

This social media video for a South Beach Boutique I call – “A skirt with a mind if it’s own!” ❤ #slomo #fashionvideos #littleriverstudios 🎥✨ #willygirl #wilhelminamiami @laynexelizabeth @makeupangelique #WhereLumixGoes

Here is a still photograph from the same shoot made with my Panasonic GH4.
